K-rebar is a powerful AutoCAD VBA tool designed to streamline reinforced concrete beam and slab detailing. Building upon the success of KBeamDetailing, this extension introduces automated Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) generation and advanced detailing features.

Installation Guide

Part 1: File Setup

1. Download the ZIP file.

2. CRITICAL: Unzip the folder directly to your C:/ drive. ( The tool relies on this specific path to function).

Part 2: Load into AutoCAD

1. Type APPLOAD in the command line or go to Manage > Load Application.

2. Click on Contents under the “Startup Suite” section.

3. Click Add and browse to your C:/ folder.

4. Select and load Krebar.dvb and Krebar.lisp.

Part 3: Activate the Ribbon

1. Type CUILOAD and press Enter.

2. Browse to the Krebar folder and select krebar.cuix.

3. Click Load. The K-rebar tab will now appear on your ribbon.

• KRAddREBAR : Open the main Userform.

• KRBL : Add bar labels.

• KRBS : Add bars to beam sections.

• KRBSC : Generate Bar Bending Schedule.

• KREFRESH : Refresh and update data.

• KRExP : Export BBS to Excel.

• RkDetails : Query details of a selected rebar.

⚠️ Important System Requirement: This tool requires the AutoCAD VBA Enabler. If you are using AutoCAD 2010 or newer, you must download and install the VBA module specific to your version from the Autodesk website.
